Under Base Layers

In accordance with our ARC flash protection range we have a variety of under base layers. ARC flash protective clothing is created in accordance with both national and international safety standards and the under base layers in flash protection are no different. ARC flash layers provide the benefit of extra protection should it be necessary. It is the last line of defence in an electrical safety plan but could provide all the necessary protection from an ARC flash. It is important to remember that layering ARC flash clothing with different cal values does not mean the total cal value is a sum of the individual items; it is reliant on other factors. But, what is clear is that wearing ARC under layers rather than normal clothing eliminates the risk of ignition and usually adds to the protection.
