Fall Protection Descenders

A small, hand held device, usually manually operated, these connect the user to the rope and allow the worker to descend the rope safely, and in control, by regulating friction as the rope travels through the device to control descent. Industrial rope access descenders offer an auto lock system, which locks the device if the handle is released. Some also offer an anti-panic function that locks the device if the handle is pulled too hard.
